Scientific Research Project

By doing Scientific Research Project we had a great opportunity to learn new skills and ways that will help us while deciding to sell a product in the market. Before choosing the product you have to distribute a survey you can choose either using social media or just distributing papers to specific generation or to everyone. the survey will include different e aspects of questions that will help us to know exactly the demand and the segmentation of people who will purchase for the product.  In our project we distribute survey where people can choose what they prefer most Play Station or XBOX. And after distributing the survey we found that people prefer PS rather than XBOX because they believe it’s the oldest and easier to play, where they found XBOX more complex. I believe that distributing survey will effect positively and we could reach the best result at the end.

A summative (final) written or oral reflection on your learning throughout the course 

Critical thinking was one of the interesting courses I had studied in this semester. I had listened about it before, but I haven’t known what it means, until I studied the course. Critical thinking is an important skill that the all student must have, but unfortunately many student lacks. I learnt that critical thinking is Improving the quality of thinking by skillfully analyzing and assessing in order to solve the problems. The activities which we did in the class really helped us to evaluate statements and consider the consequences.

I believe critical thinking improve the person’s thinking and let him think out of the box to solve a problem in successful way. Critical thinking should not be confused as a person trying to want to argue or being judgmental of other people. Although critical thinking skills can be used in revealing fallacies and bad reasoning, critical thinking also plays an important role in cooperative reasoning and constructive tasks.

Advertising research 

We did the advertising research in groups; I believe that working in groups it’s a perfect way to share ideas and that helped us a lot to reach the best result. We create a new service that will offer a high significant role to customers and it would satisfy their needs and wants. We called this service "At-your-service" where you can call them and apply for specific gift you want to send it to someone it could be flowers, food or even snacks. Moreover the major benefit of this service that you can reach your gift in quick response. In my opinion, if this service is really available in our country it will save my time and I believe that there are situations where want our gift to reach to the people we love but without knowing from who to surprise them. We learnt a lot of this project and the basic thing is to think out of the box and share ideas with the group team.

Exam based research project

we did an exam on our research project, the project was about PS and Xbox. I think that the exam was not difficult because the questions was about our project, also working with my partner make the exam easier because we share our ideas and opinions, I learned much from the research project, the exam was during the class time, actually we faced a problem that day, the laptop we were using to do the exam, was about to die and the charger was in home, so we did half of the exam in the college and rest when we reached home, we learnt a lot of things from the project, but actually we learnt more that we have to bring our charger with us to the college so we wont face another problem again.

In the class we did an experiment which is toasting bread and which is the best sitting should i choose, so we toasted 3 slices, we chose 3 different setting, we decided to choose first sitting number 4, because its the middle, the result was not too light, then we tried sitting number 6, and we found it slightly dark, then we think if we try sitting number 5 we will get the best result, we tried it and it was the best sitting, we learnt that we have to think and try many times before starting the action.
